Terms

‘Drivers Day’, ‘Driversday.co.nz’ and ‘Drivers Day Driving Experiences’, are all trading names under the company Recreational Motorsport Ltd.

‘Experience Provider’ refers to the company that operates the actual experience purchased. Full details of the Experience Provider and the days proceedings are supplied to the participant once a date for the experience is chosen.

Refund Policy

The LAST thing we want is unhappy customers, so we’re happy to give a full refund on purchases as long as the following conditions are met:

We must receive the cancellation within 28 days of the purchase date.
We can only give a refund if a date has not been chosen and confirmed. After a date is chosen and we confirm the date with the experience provider, you are bound by their refund policy. Because they need to hire circuits and other resources, generally they can’t change or cancel a booking once confirmed.

Voucher Exchange Policy

We know the trouble you’ll be in if you buy a Ford driving voucher for a Holden fanatic, so if for any reason your recipient wants to choose a different experience from what was purchased, we’ll let them swap it for free as long as the following conditions are met:

We can only exchange a voucher if a date has not been chosen and confirmed. After a date is chosen and we confirm the date with the experience provider, you are bound by their refund policy. Because they need to hire circuits and other resources, generally they can’t change or cancel a booking once confirmed.
If you would like to receive another Gift Voucher with pictures and information for the new experience chosen you will need to pay an additional $15 (incl GST)

Cancellations

Under extenuating circumstances Drivers Day and its suppliers reserve the right to alter ride dates, locations and session times. Every effort will be made to communicate the changes in a timely manner to limit any related inconvenience.

Drivers Day Liability

Drivers Day has:

no liability for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise of any experience provider or third party.
no liability for any loss or damage occasioned by any negligent act or omission of any experience provider or third party.
Where Drivers Day liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the experience purchased.

Choosing the Experience Date

The display of dates on the Drivers Day website is not a guarantee that the date is still available. All experiences have a limited number of spaces available on any specific date, and there can occasionally be a delay between the date becoming unavailable and removal of that date from the Drivers Day website.

Experience Closures

If the experience you’ve chosen is temporarily unavailable, or closes down for good, you can exchange your voucher for any other DriversDay experience. If the experience you’re wanting to swap it for is more expensive, the extra amount must be paid before a booking date can be confirmed. If the experience is cheaper, a credit note will be issued. No refunds are given if it’s outside of the 28 day refund period.

General Terms and Conditions of Website Use

By viewing and using the Website you will be deemed to agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms then you should stop accessing and using the Website.

Terminology: In these terms and conditions, the following words have the meanings set out as follows:
“we”, “us” and “our” are a reference to Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd) “you” and “your” are a reference to you.
Copyright: As between you and Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd) the contents of the Website are Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd)’s copyright. No part of the Website may be distributed, resold, published, copied, reproduced, transmitted or stored and you are not permitted to incorporate the material or any part of it in any other work or publication (whether in hard copy, electronic or any other form) without Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd)’s express written consent. Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd) reserves the right to prohibit links to the Website and you agree to remove or cease any link upon Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd)’s request. Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd) reserves the right to remove or amend any message but is under no obligation to exercise editorial control. You acknowledge that you use and rely on the Third Party Content obtained through this Website at your own risk. You understand and agree that any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Website is done at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any and all damages to your computer system or loss of data.
Where you posts an advertisement on the Website you will ensure that the information contained in the advertisement is true, accurate and correct at the time it is posted and for the period it remains on the Website. Where a sale has been completed in relation to the goods or services offered in the advertisement or the information in the advertisement is no longer correct, you will correct the advertisement or notify Drivers Day NZ (Recreational Motorsport Ltd).
